This is an in-house position responsible for all aspects of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) including keyword research, Google AdWords and pay per click (PPC) campaign management, and reporting. Also included would be display network, remarketing and social media PPC ad placements. This position will be working primarily on client sites but also on internal company sites.
Configure, manage, and optimize Google AdWords campaigns.
Understand how search impacts the design of sites, pages, and content.
Keep up to date on current SEM strategies through continuing education, seminars, subscriptions, and self-study.
Prepare and present progress and status reports to internal staff and clients.
Create and optimize website content to improve rankings.
Provide recommendations for budget and display ad changes based on thorough analysis.
Work with the web development team to recommend site changes and improvements that will positively impact site conversions.
Bachelors Degree in related field
1 year of experience with Keyword analysis tools, Google Analytics, and metrics analysis
Experience optimizing at least $5k of PPC spend per month
1 year of experience with Paid Search Marketing such as Google Adwords and MS Adcenter
