Description
The Digital Marketing Operations Coordinator is a hands-on position focused on handling day-to-day e-commerce responsibilities for client websites and the Blue Tangerine Digital marketing team. This role will be responsible for digital marketing efforts on client websites including uploading and modifying products, implementing promotions & marketing content, conversion rate and performance improvement initiatives, and functionality optimization. In addition, this role will collaborate cross-functionally with the Blue Tangerine Marketing Services Team, the client Creative, Merchandising, and Customer Service teams to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales and profitability through online experience.
The role will include implementation of marketing campaigns designed to increase online traffic and acquire new customers or leads, and campaigns to retain existing customers and nurture leads.
The ideal candidate is a responsible and detail-oriented individual who will take on a wide array of responsibilities.
Duties:
- Work with Client Merchandising & Creative team and Blue Tangerine Digital Marketing team to ensure promotions and website updates are implemented accurately and on-time to support emails and other marketing events
- Maintain and update content calendars for clients
- Partner with Client Merchandising to build collections and update navigation in support of seasonal marketing campaigns
- Support the Digital Marketing team in developing and maintaining new and existing marketing channels including Paid Search, SEO, Email, Social Media, Display Advertising, Programmatic Advertising, etc.
- Upload images, video, and other digital assets for use on-site, email, social media and other digital campaigns
- Audit websites regularly to ensure all content and product information is displayed properly
- Manage site navigation, search and refinement features to optimize the user experience
- Maintain and update data feeds to support shopping and lead generation programs
- Assist in implementation of new integrations on website properties from testing to reporting on results
- Report bugs on the website and log tickets with the Development team to correct problems
- Assist with the customer reviews program by ensuring that reviews are properly displaying on client sites and syndicated to desired 3rd party sites
- Identify opportunities to increase sales
- Support the Account Manager with daily, weekly and monthly reporting (Sales/Lead Generation, Reviews, Program Results, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in marketing or equivalent work experience
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with website content management systems
- Image manipulation and web optimization experience using tools like Photoshop a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Desire to learn & obtain Google Analytics certification
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Detail Oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Displays professionalism, strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate online
